Goodbye birthday month.

I would conclude this month as horrific, if you know what I have encountered.
Not gonna talk about it.

So, birthday.
All was fine, but some people just want to see my shocked face.
Do you people really enjoy see me being shocked or what?
By the way those surprises just enlightened some of my down moments.
You know who you are people. ♥

The duo ended up talking and meeting up more than the previous weeks, kudos to that backstabber.
Who, you ask? Told you I'm not gonna talk about it.
For now just let everything settle down.
Let bygones be bygones, and bitches will always remain bitching.

Majors in 3 weeks' time.
One last time before June I'm gonna make all the hard work pay off.
Revenge time.

Ending this post with a high hope of getting myself more occupied in the 2nd half of 2013.
Coming up : Nail polish swatches review - Etude House.

Haul + Short Review : Etude House + Essence

This is going to be not-so-long.

Went to Queensbay yesterday to bank in some money.
After that with some time left I decided to check out pharmacies for nail art tools.

First I walked into Sasa.
I remembered seeing China Glaze in Gurney's branch but there ain't any here. =(
Nevertheless I found Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear and Revlon polishes. (RM 20 each bottle)
Scrolling up and down for products, then saw Naga Nail magnetic polish collection, 2 bottles and free magnet at RM 50.
The price was okay but I'm not a huge fan of magnetic polish so I thought I would keep that budget for more colours.

Exited Sasa, I went into Guardian, then saw the wedged make up sponge, but a little bit pricey. (8 for RM 12.90)
Then I thought, maybe Watsons would give me a better deal so I visited the store.
I was randomly looking around.
Merely pointless shopping I can say until something caught my eyes.
Essence White Nail Art Pen.
Seriously I didn't know this brand was in Watsons till I witnessed it.
This nail art pen has been used by Youtubers while they paint their nails and they gave good review.

There you go.
RM 9.90

Also in Watsons, I saw a huge pack of wedged make up sponge, selling RM 19.46 for 20 pieces.
Definitely worth it, but my deskmate and I decided not to go for it just yet because we won't be using that many.

Not going to conclude much about Etude House.
I've been buying things over RM 150 during their 50% off promotion and launch of Sweet Recipe collection, but I will feel bad for not buying anything when I enter any stores.

Dear My Party Nails collection - DJing Show.
Just imagine you're in a disco, then you get to imagine the colours of this bottle.
It contains purple, green and silver glitter strips.

As soon as I got home, I went on to try the nail art pen.

Looks like an ordinary pen, no?
If you know how to write, you pretty much get used to this product very quickly.

Here's me trying it on my thumb.
Please ignore the line at the centre as I accidentally pumped too much ink at once.
Overall it was convenient and the drying time was absolutely amazing.

Holidays, please come faster. I can't wait to paint my nails.

Peace out,

Blog + Haul : Gurney Plaza and Queensbay

This was totally impromptu.
Initially I didn't think of going to either Gurney or Queensbay, but ended up going both.
So after training I drove my dear along to Gurney cause she thought of checking out Etude House as well.
Here's what we both got from Etude House after half an hour:

Sweet Recipe Collection Baby Choux Base - Peach
*Image adapted from fermosahouse.blogspot.com*
RM 69.90

Sweet Recipe Collection Sliced Cake Puff
*The whole thing was too nice for me to unwrap it! Dilemma.*
RM 15.90

Look At My Cotton Candy Nails - Balloons In The Sky
(I have no idea what's the actual name but this one is translated.)
Can this blue be any more prettier? I'm in love =D
RM 4.95 (O.P. RM 9.90)

Look At My Cotton Candy Nails - Look At Him Looking At Her
(This one too. It's translated.)
A shade of baby purple which is very lovely.
RM 4.95 (O.P. RM 9.90)

Color Me Nude Lip Concealer
I got this one on behalf of my deskmate, cheaper than we thought.
A very adorable design on the box, worth buying this.
RM 9.95 (O.P. RM 19.90)

So, because we bought RM 80 and above for Sweet Recipe and total bill of RM 50 and above, we got...

Etude House Limited Shower Kit (with purchase of > RM80 from Sweet Recipe)

SHINee's poster (with total bill of > RM30)
*Okay I over-protected the full poster so the picture of it is at the flyer of my previous post.*

SHINee's postcard (with total bill of > RM50)

In-house promotion and GP sales, definitely worth it!
Though the 50% offer might end soon, the 20% from Sweet Recipe hasn't!
If you're still wondering to get any products from the latest collection, my advice is GO GET IT before 30/4!

We then proceeded to SaSa to get my nail art pen.
SaSa was also having promotion on hand products and eye products, therefore another worthy purchase.

Naga Nail 2-way Nail Art Pen
This one is available in more colours, but I chose black because I might use it a lot.
*Tip : The center part of the pen is the colour you will get.*
RM 9.90 (O.P. RM 12.90)

It was already close to 12 noon when we left SaSa, then to satisfy our hunger we walked to the basement floor to buy Cone Pizza as lunch.

Damn myself having to take this picture like this =X
Anyway, thank you dear for the treat! ♥

Dropped her back in school, then I headed home and had my nap before coming out again around 5ish to Queensbay.
My original plan was just to get my glue refill, but after visiting Popular, remembered that Sticky was open today I went to have a look.
When I was looking around, someone called my name (well I was frightened) and it appeared to be my junior who's working in Sticky =D
I got myself a bottle for my love towards Sticky and to celebrate its arrival in Penang.

Sticky "I Love You" Rock
RM 16.90

I can still remember walking out of Sticky talking over the phone with my dear, discussing about which bottle of Sticky I should get.
Next, I headed to Etude House (once again) to check out (since the promotion hadn't ended) and here's what I got:

Fashion Queen Nail Collection - #02 Rock & Roll Baby
I picked this up because I feel like completing the collection. KILL ME.
Again, this collection comes with matching stickers and 3 different colours :-
1. Blond headbanging: A bottle of filled with chunks of gold glitter;
2. Heavy Metal Silver: Another bottle with chunks of glitter, but this time in silver;
3. Rock Chic Leather: A bottle of matte black polish.
RM 24.95 (O.P. RM 49.90)

Help My Finger Quick Dry Liquid Drop
As how the product is named, you just have to put a drop (or two on your thumb) onto your manicure/pedicure and it helps to dry it faster.
*Another cheaper than I thought product.*
RM 12.95 (O.P. RM 25.90)

Look At My Cotton Candy Nails - The Long Wait in the Spring
A very nice shade of mango-ish orange.
Damn. This is already the 4th bottle from the 10-colour collection.
Even with my love towards pastel colours I shouldn't be doing this. PLEASE KILL ME SOMEONE!
RM 4.95 (O.P. RM 9.90)

Dear My Deep Color Nails - Crown Brown
*I'm not sure if they labelled wrongly because this looked more like Ground Brown from the collection.*
To be honest, I got this one just to make my bill > RM50 for the postcard lol.
As you can see, this one is a lighter shade of brown, it's a great contrast if your fingers are fair enough.
(Nope, my skin has tanned a lot since 17.)
RM 9.95 (O.P. RM 19.90)

That's all for this post.
I wonder if I'll come up with any nail art during school holidays.
Stay tuned.

Haul : Nail polish

This is my first time writing about haul and I'm pretty excited!

So yesterday I was in Queensbay Mall.
At first I thought of checking out Topshop because they're having renovation sales, then Etude House.
Considering Topshop items might just make my pocket burn, I walked first to Etude House.
Then, there were sales as well.

Stopped there for quite some time to try out some colours on my nails.
Too bad, didn't take a picture when each nail had different colours.
However the offer was really worthy.
Buy a minimum of 3 items from the store and get 50% off each item (ends 14/4), except for their latest launch of Sweet Recipe Collection products which only offer 20%, also a minimum purchase of 3 items (ends 30/4).
Sounds interesting, because that means storewide discount.

Here's what I got:
Look At My Cotton Candy Nails - Dancing Ballet Shoes
Since I don't have any pink in my own collection and I like how sheer the pink is, I decided to go for this.
A very lovely colour similar to a pair of ballerina flats.
Got this at RM 4.95 (O.P. RM 9.90)

Dear My Deep Color Nails - Bye Violet
A very special shade of purple with some brown undertone but doesn't make the colour too dull.
This colour compliments grey and purple clothes very well.
RM 9.95 (O.P. RM 19.90)

Fashion Queen Nail Collection - #01 Hey Jean.E
*One of my favourites!*
This collection has more to choose from, but people know I love the colour blue to death and I love anything about jeans/denim. This collection is perfect for denim lovers.
The sticker pack you see at the 3rd row is included in the box. =)
It comes with 3 bottles of nail polish :-
1. White T-Shirt and Jeans : A snowflake-y base colour with blue sparkles and glitter;
2. 70's Blue Denim : A special colour of toned down blue;
3. Perfect Skinny : Dark navy blue colour with cobalt blue fine glitter.
RM 24.95 (O.P. RM 49.90)

Wanted to buy nail polish remover from there, unfortunately it's out of stock.
And I was somehow regret for not buying any nail polish from Sweet Recipe Collection.
That collection has a collection of 4 bottles of pastel coloured nail polish with glitter, and the design of the bottle is a replica of an ice-cream!
Click here to check out the review.
Here's one more review with #notd. *Thanks to Felicia for the link!*
It's selling at RM 25.90 each though. *Buy them before the offer is over!*

I went to Elianto before going off, just because I feel like getting the Grape Nail Colour Remover.
Thankfully, it wasn't out of stock.
My last nail polish remover was the same one, and it has a nice scent of grapes that's why I came back for one.
It's not worthy to buy the smaller bottle of remover if you're wondering which to buy (RM 8.00 for 60ml).

This one, RM 10.00 (100ml).

In Elianto, it's RM 15 if you buy a bottle of nail lacquer + a bottle of nail treatment (base coat, top coat, cuticle oil or nail strengthener). Makes you save RM 3.90.
Therefore, here.

Nail strengthener for my weak and easily breakable nails.
RM 10.00 (O.P. RM 12.90)

S09, which is a lilac. *Wonder why there's no name for this colour at the bottle*
Thought of buying this for my future nail art designs, maybe.
RM 5.00 (O.P. RM 6.00)

I might be back to Etude House on Saturday to help my deskmate get her lip concealer, as well consider if I'm buying the Sweet Recipe Ice-Cream Nails collection.
Oh and, do I mention something good in Etude House for Penangites this coming weekend?

SHINee! Ahhhhhhh!
*Shawol fangirling begins.*

Finishing this post with a SHINee hangover.
