Blessed Christmas everyone.
Of course, Blessed Birthday to our Saviour.

Party rock? Maybe not.
This year's Christmas mood was totally brought down until I went to Natalie's house.
At least I felt the spirit and all carollers are my close siblings in Christ. =)
I was surprised to even meet some of them.
Qu Wern, Kenneth, Benjamin and Jonathan especially.
Most girls went to camp so yeah, still full of topics. (Girls. XD)
Captain ball on Monday and reunion on Tuesday, ON!

Not to forget, Trio. <3
Your Christmas presents are still with me, yet to be wrapped.
Do claim from me when we meet up aye? Hearts.

Celebration with family members. Good or bad?

I have no idea.

BEYOND [Phil 3:14] - Penang Bible Camp 2011.

Here we are again, after a year.
By God's grace, I'm back to that familiar place where I'll pay a visit at least once a year.
I'll go to a day-by-day summary.

Intro
65th Penang Annual Bible Camp
Organised by Burmah Road Gospel Hall
11 - 17 December 2011
Christian Convention Centre, Batu Ferringhi

Day 1
Arrived in church around 11+ while others were having choir practice. Sharon drove Natalie, Stephanie, Daniel and I to lunch at Fatty Loh before landing at the camp site.

This year's teams : Trail Blazers, Road Runners and Track Sprinters. I was told to be in green.
Even before I settled my luggage in my dorm, I was so hyped up that I flipped my camp book to see who's in the same team with me. My first reaction was, I know all big brothers and big sisters, YEAH! Just after a second, "Who're these people? How come I haven't seen their names before? Perhaps God gives me a golden opportunity to make new friends." I thought.

We started off the first session with Singspiration and got to know some new campers. Next, what I'd been waiting for all the while - Captain Ball! This was the time we actually greeted to the guys in our team. Pathetic, no? Though, we did a great job Sprinters. =)

After dinner, we all sat down in the hall and Brother Khai Wey gave us a brief introduction to the book of Philippians. For group devotion at night, we had Slapping Thighs and Boyfriend Girlfriend. XD Thanks to our big brother Ah Guan, I got to know everyone better through the games.

Day 2
I bumped up around 4:50 a.m., a little earlier than last year's constant 5 a.m.. Was it me feeling hyped up or did I not sleep well? I felt my eye were quite heavy the moment I woke up. Whatever. Camp had to go on.

Morning devotion talked mainly about "The Way We Walk". Not as simple as the pathway we walk everyday, but the way in Christ. How do we walk in Him? How do we actually put in effort to have a closer relationship with Him? Have we changed into a better person in His name? The devotion passage was quoted with Romans 6:4.

Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

This verse was really a hit, reminding me not to backslide any more. Instead, continue to walk in Him faithfully, as I always told people during their birthdays. =)

Remember when we had to crack our brains just for dormitory inspections? Day 2 was the beginning of it.
Blanket designs, shoes designs, dangling-free bedsheets, tidy pillow cases, dry sink, dust-free floor, etc.
It was more like a race with time as we had around 30 minutes to get everything ready for inspection.
Furthermore, all these years we synced our designs with the guys' dorm, so difficulty X2. Nevertheless, everyone worked real hard for this. A good sign huh?

After Singspiration, before message, MEMORY VERSE! *Many people's nightmare*
[Phil 1:21-22] were the verses of the day.

21For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell.

This time, William used the method of picking ping pong balls instead of directly showing the names on the screen like last year. Maths time, people. Probability. >.<

Message. Juniors followed Brother Khai Wey while seniors followed Uncle Mung Yee. We were briefed through the book of Philippians. Perhaps some people took this opportunity to fish, like what Jaya Kor said last year. *IMISSHIM!*

Message down, lunch and SIESTA's up. BEACH HERE WE COME!
Sweat and Stride Mini Obstacle. The obstacles were not mini at all, fyi. More like station games.
Anyway, thanks to Alex for designing such activities to boost our teamwork. =)
Donut Ball's next.
Rules : Similar to Captain Ball but instead of throwing a ball, a person will be throwing a donut the frisbee way. Catchers score by getting the donut through the stick they're holding. Better teamwork Sprinters?
I remembered myself getting involved in Captain Ball after Donut Ball, and I sweated a lot. Oops.

At night, we all entered CCC Theatre to watch a movie based on a real life inspiring story of a professional surfer Bethany Hamilton, Soul Surfer.

This movie was truly inspiring. If you would want me to rate, I'll give it a 10/10, despite some scenes required parental guide. =) Way to go, Bethany!

Day after freedom.

This day, was definitely one of the highlights in December.
However, it started disastrously.

We were back to school, returning our textbooks.
The process which can be settled in minutes, ended up to complete using more than 100 minutes.
WHAT?!
I was already furious about this yet no action was taken.
No offence, but everyone should have gotten their books READY TO RETURN, and not writing the list + tying up the books prior the last minute to return!

Plan was SO CLOSED to ruin, thank God for the time though.
At least we got another 2 hours among Trio again. <3

Reached Gurney around 1:30 p.m..
At first I was thinking to meet up with the girls first, but as I shopped, I found the items I wanted. X)
Of course, hunt!

Stopped by at Memory Lane to look for my junior who works part time there. =)
Poor her. With her partner having day off she's all alone.
I can tell that she's bored. >.<
No worries buddy. You'll be just fine. Hang in there! I'll be cheering for you.

After meeting up with the girls, we shopped around Popular for a while. Eventually I found these things :

Elecoldxhot perform the routine with the song Everybody by BSB (Backstreet Boys). <3 #DOPE!
(Don't forget I'm wearing their tee and I give them full support!)

Daughter, look at this. I LOLed.

After hanging around Popular, we walked to the next door - Evolution Music House.
I miss playing drums there =( and looking at the drum sets makes me wanna hug them home!
It's not as expensive as I thought. 1 set of drums (5 toms + cymbals included) for RM1890! I WANT!
Reserve for me please? ><

Right before movie time, we went down to basement again to grab some drinks.

Crystal's chocolate ice blended and my champagne grape sunrise (yoghurt ice blended). <3

Here's what we're watching.

While we queued to buy popcorn, I felt that today was rather a people-whom-I-know reunion than an outing.
- Kah Wei, Emmilyn, Zhen Jie, Liu Jie, Justina, Cheryl and Stephanie were there for the same movie, and they were just in front of us while buying food and drinks. Ah Guan showed up before we entered the theatre. X)
- Ashley and her friend for the same movie too.
- My classmate, Kathy with her gang (Hui Qian, Chor Yen, Yee Ling), also the same movie.
There's just too many people at the same place the same time, no?

December.

Hey guys, it's been a while.

November has ended, and it's now 2nd of December already.
Pretty fast, huh?

November was nightmare, yet crazy for me.
As you guys know that we're having our SPM.
Oh yeah, as if nothing big happened to me.
In the midst of SPM, I joined APBIM.
Right, I was nuts.
However I didn't know that my sister would be as nuts as I was.
My dear love, Melissa Teoh. <3 She was there too!
Was great to see her after almost a year. *Hugs*

Ups and downs for the Trio.
Nevertheless, we're now still unite as one. Right?
For the trio, in the trio.
Pray hard that we'll never break apart.
If you don't know how important the Duo mean for me, now you know.
So please don't be harsh on them or I'll be harsh on you.

As usual, we talk about Bible Camp.
Something did puzzle me for a while regarding to this, thankfully I have people to listen to me. <3

Having to find inspiration to do my manicure, headache.
Guess I'll go for water marble nail art for my thumbs, then blue designs on other fingers.
Trio, never be missed out. Left hand. =)
Right hand, either Facebook nails or other designs.
Do recommend if you feel any nice designs that I can put on.
Be simple though! My left hand is non-dominant on polishing nails.
